Middlesex University Dubai is the Dubai campus of Middlesex University, London, established in 2005 in Dubai Knowledge Park as one of the earliest international university branches in the UAE. Dubai's largest UK university, MDX Dubai offers 90+ specialised UK-accredited programmes across nine schools: Business, Accounting & Finance, Computer Engineering & Informatics, Psychology, Law, Art & Design, Media, Health & Education, and Sport Science. The university operates from a multi-block campus in Dubai Knowledge Park (Blocks 15, 16, 17 & 19) plus satellite study hubs in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) and Dubai Media City. MDX Dubai operates one of the most extensive scholarship and discount programmes among UAE universities, most students combine an academic-merit scholarship with a study grant. Loyalty grants (ESAAD / Fazaa / Emirates Platinum) cannot be combined with merit-based scholarships.
Scholarships & discounts
UAE-domestic applicants to Foundation and Undergraduate programmes. Award level based on secondary-school grades (A-Level, CBSE, IB, American Diploma, etc.). Renewable annually; can combine with study grants.
Domestic and international applicants demonstrating excellence in sporting success at national or international level. Apply via admissions@mdx.ac.ae.

Admissions & entry requirements
Middlesex University Dubai welcomes applications throughout the year. The university operates a non-discriminatory admissions policy and accepts qualifications from a wide range of national curricula. Offers are typically issued within 48 hours of application via the MyMDX portal.

Complete enrolment through the MyMDX portal, uploading remaining documents, signing financial agreement, and arranging student visa where applicable.

Rolling Admissions: Applications accepted throughout the year. Early application is recommended for international students requiring visa processing.
Scholarship Application Windows: Scholarship decisions follow normal offer + acceptance + AED 3,000 deposit. Different grants have different criteria, see the Scholarships block.
Required documents
10 totalMiddlesex Dubai sponsors UAE student residence visas for full-time international students. The Student Services team supports new students with the medical, Emirates ID, and biometric steps after offer acceptance.
