North London Collegiate School Dubai (NLCS Dubai) is a co-educational IB school in Sobha Hartland, Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City, teaching Pre-KG to Grade 12 through the IB Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. It opened in September 2017 as a branch of North London Collegiate School in London, founded in 1850, and belongs to the NLCS family of schools. KHDA rated it Very Good at its February 2024 inspection, with Outstanding judgements in every phase for curriculum, care and support, personal development, parents and the community, and management, and Outstanding attainment in mathematics and science from PYP to DP and in English in MYP and DP. In 2026 its IB Diploma candidates averaged 38.1 points, with 37% scoring 40 or more and two perfect scores of 45. The 38,000 square metre campus has an 8-lane indoor swimming pool, a Performing Arts Centre, a sports hall, tennis and basketball courts, a climbing wall and an astroturf field. English is the language of instruction, and Arabic, French, Spanish, German and Mandarin are also offered.

Annual tuition fees
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Tuition is the KHDA-approved fee for 2026-27; KHDA records that the school asked for no increase this year, and its fact sheets list no mandatory charge on top of tuition. New joiners pay a lower introductory rate in their first year on roll only: 13.5% off at Pre-KG, 12% at KG1, 7% at KG2, 5% at Grade 1, 2% at Grades 2 and 3, none at Grades 4 and 5 and 4% from Grade 6. Applying costs AED 500 plus VAT, and accepting a place a non-refundable deposit of 10% of tuition, offset against the first term's fees. Tuition excludes lunches, transport, uniform and educational trips.

Stages & pathways
Early Years
Pre-KG–KG1The Early Years department (Pre-KG, ages 3 to 4, and KG1, ages 4 to 5) follows the principles of the IB Primary Years Programme, with inquiry and play at the centre and classrooms influenced by the Curiosity Approach. Phonics follows Read Write Inc. and early mathematics EY Maths by Karen Wilding, and children have specialist lessons in Music, PE, swimming and Arabic. KHDA judged the KG curriculum Outstanding and attainment in English, mathematics and science Very Good (February 2024).
Lower and Upper Junior School (PYP)
KG2–Grade 5KG2 to Grade 5 follow the IB Primary Years Programme in the Lower Junior School (KG2 to Grade 2) and the Upper Junior School (Grades 3 to 5), through Units of Inquiry under the six transdisciplinary themes. Class teachers lead each class, with specialist teachers for Computing, Music and Physical and Health Education from Grade 3. Modern languages start with a French, Spanish and Mandarin carousel in Grade 1, and students keep one language from Grade 2, alongside Arabic; Islamic Studies starts in Grade 1. The PYP ends with the Grade 5 Exhibition. KHDA judged attainment in mathematics and science Outstanding in PYP (February 2024).
Middle Years Programme (MYP)
Grades 6–10The Middle School (Grades 6 to 8) and the Upper School (Grades 9 and 10) follow the IB Middle Years Programme. Students take English, mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics, history, geography, music, theatre, visual arts, design, physical and health education and at least one other language, with one interdisciplinary unit a year and Service as Action; Grades 9 and 10 choose nine subjects from the eight MYP subject groups. The Community Project ends Grade 8; MYP eAssessments, an Interdisciplinary Examination and the Personal Project end Grade 10. KHDA judged attainment in English, mathematics and science Outstanding in MYP (February 2024); in 2025 the school's 107 MYP candidates averaged 47.6.
IB Diploma Programme (Sixth Form)
Grades 11–12The Sixth Form (Grades 11 and 12) follows the IB Diploma Programme, which the IB authorised in April 2018. Students take six subjects, three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level, plus Theory of Knowledge, the 4,000-word Extended Essay and at least 150 hours of Creativity, Activity and Service; two Group 1 languages lead to the Bilingual Diploma. In 2026 the school's Diploma candidates averaged 38.1 points, with 37% scoring 40 or more and two perfect scores of 45. KHDA judged attainment and progress in English, and attainment in mathematics and science, Outstanding in DP (February 2024).

Performing Arts Centre
The school's Performing Arts Centre hosts concerts, theatrical productions and House competitions.
Science Laboratories
Science laboratories for biology, chemistry and physics, taught as separate sciences from Grade 6. The school says it will offer 13 laboratories when the campus is at capacity.
8-Lane Indoor Swimming Pool
An 8-lane indoor pool (25 m in the school's 2022 prospectus), used for swimming lessons from KG2 and by the swim squad.
Learner Pool
A separate learner pool, where Pre-KG and KG1 have their swimming lessons.
Senior Library
The Senior Library, run by the school's Head Librarian, who also coordinates the Extended Essay.
Buss Library (Junior School)
The Junior School library, renamed the Buss Library after the original library at North London Collegiate School in London.
Black Box Drama Studio
A black box drama studio; the school's newsletters record monologue evenings there for students taking Trinity drama examinations.
Music Practice Rooms and Recording Studio
A suite of specialist music practice rooms and a recording studio; students can take private instrumental lessons.
