About

Yasmina British Academy is a private, co-educational British school in Khalifa City A (Al Raha Gardens), Abu Dhabi, part of Aldar Education and formerly known as Al Yasmina School. Opened in 2007, it follows the National Curriculum for England from the Early Years Foundation Stage through IGCSE and A Levels (FS1 to Year 13, ages 3-18). With around 3,600 students it is one of the largest British schools in the emirate — a genuinely diverse community of 85+ nationalities, roughly half Emirati and half international, where no single nationality exceeds about a tenth of the roll. Taught by some 248 teachers at a 1:14 ratio, Yasmina is rated Outstanding by ADEK (in 2019-20, 2022-23 and the October 2025 inspection) and Outstanding under the UK's British Schools Overseas framework, and in 2025 55% of its A Level grades were A*-A. Its state-of-the-art campus features a 650-seat auditorium, a black box theatre, science and design-technology workshops, an innovation centre with 3D printers, swimming pools and a running track.
