Al Shohub Private School is a private co-educational British primary school in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi, founded in 1999 as a villa school by Sheikha Shaikha bint Saif Al Nahyan and housed in a purpose-built campus since November 2013. Part of Aldar Education since 2022, it teaches the National Curriculum for England with EYFS from FS1 to Year 6 (ages 3-11), originally girls-focused, it is now fully co-educational. A predominantly Emirati community of 542 students enjoys a roughly 1:14 teacher ratio with predominantly UK-trained staff, a 13,000+ book library with Accelerated Reading, and standout inclusion provision including a sensory room, an occupational therapy room with a 5-metre climbing wall and speech and language support. ADEK rates the school Good, improved from Acceptable at the latest inspection.
