Muna British Academy is a private, co-educational British school on Saadiyat Island, part of Aldar Education. Opened in 2009 as Al Muna Primary and long one of Abu Dhabi's most respected British schools, it relocated in August 2025 to a purpose-built AED 300 million campus in the Saadiyat Lagoons community — the first school in Abu Dhabi to achieve an Estidama Pearl 5 sustainability rating. The school follows the National Curriculum for England and currently spans the Early Years Foundation Stage to Year 7 (ages 3-12), growing one year group each year towards a full all-through Sixth Form by 2031-32. Muna was the first school in the emirate to be awarded ADEK's top A1/Outstanding rating (2015-16) and has held Outstanding consistently since, including in 2025-26. Around 935 students from more than 50 nationalities attend, taught by 69 teachers at a 1:14 ratio.
