About This Programme

One-year MSc Petroleum Engineering combining lectures and project work with applied real-field evaluation and development design problems. September intake mandatory (Sep): Drilling Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Formation Evaluation, Geoscience with Integrated Data Science. (Jan): Well Test Analysis, Production Technology, Reservoir Simulation, Energy Project Economics. (May): Individual Project, Field Development Project. January intake follows the same modules in shifted order (Jan/Sep/Second Jan). Entry: Bachelor's degree with Honours (first or second class) in chemical, bioengineering, mechanical, physics, oil and gas, or geology engineering; strong mathematical competence required; UAE Ministry of Education attestation needed. IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5). September and January intakes (January is part-time only). Full-time 1 year; part-time 1 year (Sep) or 32 months across 4 semesters + 4-month project (Jan). Tuition AED 172,484/year full-time (incl. VAT) or AED 86,242/year part-time, significantly higher than other HW Dubai MScs, reflecting specialist nature. Financial support: programme team negotiates annual industrial scholarships. Accreditations: UAE MoHESR; UK QAA. 90%+ graduate employment within six months. Entry Requirements

Academic: For MSc entry, a good relevant engineering Honours degree (first or second class) with a background in chemical, bioengineering, mechanical, physics, oil and gas or geology with good mathematical competence will be considered.
