One-year MSc Construction Project Management combining project management methodology with construction-sector domain expertise. Mandatory modules (Sep intake): Project Management: Theory and Practice, Strategic Commercial Management, Value and Risk Management, Information and Innovation Technologies in Construction Practice, Construction Financial Management, People and Organisation Management in the Built Environment, Project Management: Strategic Issues. Optional modules: Sustainability for Construction Professionals, Environmental Hydrology and Water Resources, Urban Economy and Property Markets, Advanced Construction Technology, Integrated Project. Research project component required for MSc qualification. Entry: a good relevant Honours degree (first or upper second class) or equivalent overseas qualification; UAE Ministry of Education attestation required. IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5). September and January intakes. Full-time 1 year (12 + 3-month dissertation = 16 months for Jan entrants); part-time 24 months (24 + 6-month dissertation = 30 months for Jan PT entrants). Tuition AED 105,270/year full-time (incl. VAT) or AED 52,635/year part-time. Accreditations: Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB); UAE MoHESR; UK Royal Charter. Distinct from Civil Engineering and Construction Management MSc, that programme requires an engineering Honours degree and integrates technical civil engineering modules; this Construction Project Management MSc is management-focused and accepts a broader range of Honours degree backgrounds. 90%+ graduate employment within six months.
