One-year MSc (full-time) preparing students for chartered quantity surveying and commercial management practice. Mandatory courses: Advanced Construction Technology, Strategic Commercial Management, Value and Risk Management, Information and Innovation Technologies in Construction Practice, Quantity Surveying Financial Management, Construction Financial Management, People and Organisation Management in the Built Environment. Optional courses: Sustainability for Construction Professionals, Urban Economy and Property Markets, Real Estate Appraisal and Finance, Integrated Project. All students complete a research project / dissertation. Internship opportunities available with industry partners. Entry: a good relevant Honours degree (first or second class) or equivalent overseas qualification. IELTS 6.0 (no component below 5.5). Accreditations: RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) — graduates may apply for RICS membership and pursue chartered status via the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC); UAE MoHESR; UK QAA. September and January intakes. Full-time 1 year; part-time 2 years (12 months coursework + 3-month dissertation FT; 24 months + 6-month dissertation PT). Tuition AED 99,528/year full-time (incl.
