Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is a private, co-educational British school on Saadiyat Island, part of Aldar Education and a sister to the historic Cranleigh School in the UK. Opened in 2014, its main Prep and Secondary campus sits in the Saadiyat Cultural District beside the Louvre Abu Dhabi (with the Zayed National Museum and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi nearby), while a purpose-built Pre-Prep campus adjacent to New York University Abu Dhabi opened in early 2024. The school follows the National Curriculum for England from the Early Years Foundation Stage through Year 13 — IGCSE at Key Stage 4 and A Levels, BTEC Level 3 and the EPQ in the Sixth Form — framed by its distinctive whole-child "Ghaf Tree" model. Around 1,550 students from more than 70 nationalities attend (the largest community British, with about 21% Emirati), taught by 147 teachers at a roughly 1:11 ratio. Cranleigh has been rated Outstanding by ADEK in every inspection cycle since 2018-19, and in 2025 52% of its A Level grades were A*-A.
