Taught through lectures, tutorials and supervised laboratory work delivered in the evenings and at weekends, supplemented by self-guided study. Assessment is a mix of coursework, practical work and a final project.
Six core taught modules (120 credits) across microbiology, host-pathogen interactions and antimicrobial resistance.
An individual laboratory research project (60 credits).
