What You'll Study

Around 30 hours of weekly contact time through lectures, tutorials and supervised laboratory work, supplemented by self-guided study. Assessment is a mix of coursework, practical work and exams, with the final degree weighted toward your later years.

Year 1

Build the foundations of molecular cell biology, physiology and immunity, with a major practical and research-skills module.

Entry Requirements

A Level: AAB-ABB at A Level, to include two sciences (one from Biology or Chemistry). GCSE grade B/6 in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry if not offered at A Level.

IB Diploma: 6,6,5 at Higher Level with a minimum of 32 points overall, including at least two Higher Level sciences.

English: IELTS, TOEFL or PTE to the University's required level, or completion of a Presessional English course.
