Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai is a premium British school in Tilal Al Ghaf, established in 2021 in partnership between the 510-year-old Royal Grammar School Guildford (UK) and Cognita. The school offers the English National Curriculum from FS1 through Year 13 with GCSE and A-Level pathways. Rated Very Good by KHDA on its first inspection, the first school in Dubai to achieve this, and Outstanding by British Schools Overseas (BSO) in 2025. The 40,000 sqm biophilic campus is the region's first nearly Zero Energy School, featuring a 500-seat auditorium, 25-metre indoor swimming pool, five football pitches including a FIFA-approved full-size pitch, and a 9-lane athletics track. With a maximum class size of 20 and a teacher-student ratio of 1:10.5, RGS Guildford Dubai serves over 1,800 students with capacity for 2,100. The school emphasises its unique Riyada curriculum combining leadership, UAE Social Studies, moral education, and wellbeing.
