GEMS School of Research and Innovation (SRI) opened in 2025 on a purpose-built 47,600 sqm campus in Dubai Sports City. It teaches an enhanced British curriculum rooted in the National Curriculum for England, enriched by the school's own Pioneer Framework of Learning Skills, Digital Skills, Research Skills, Values in Action and Student Agency, with every subject taught by a specialist. Its phases are Pre-Prep (FS1 to Year 2), Prep (Years 3 to 6) and Seniors (Years 7 to 9); the school currently runs to Year 9 and adds a year group each year toward Year 13. Arabic is taught as a first and an additional language, and from Year 3 students study at least two of French, Spanish and Mandarin. More than 100 extended-day programmes across Academics, Creative and Performing Arts, Sport, and Technology and Innovation run through the Trailblazer Curriculum and the co-curricular programme. Facilities named by the school include an Olympic-size swimming pool and learner pool, a FIFA-standard football field, a 400m Olympic running track, a 600-seat auditorium, a black box theatre, a golf academy with three TrackMan simulators, and innovation and disruption labs for each phase. The school names Lord William Hague of Richmond as its Honorary Patron, and Lord Sebastian Coe, Nile Rodgers and Carlos Acosta CBE as Special Advisors for sport, music and the performing arts. SRI has not yet been inspected by KHDA, so it carries no DSIB rating.

Fees shown are the school's Founding Families rates for 2026/27, which the school has extended for the year and publishes as the annual tuition for every year group. The KHDA-approved fees behind them are AED 116,000 (FS1-FS2), 134,000 (Years 1-4), 152,000 (Years 5-6) and 161,000 (Years 7-9); KHDA records that the school requested no increase for 2026-27 and lists the reduction as a Founders 20% scheme among its other discounts. Fees include access to the Breakfast Club from 7:00am, the Sibling Club and co-curricular programmes across academics, sport, arts and innovation until 4:15pm. KHDA approves fees for FS1 to Year 9 only. On withdrawal, fees are calculated from the date the formal withdrawal request is submitted, under KHDA's refund policy. Pre-Prep spans FS1 to Year 2, moving from play-based discovery to structured, subject-based teaching in a language-rich environment. FS1 and FS2 learn through Literacy, Numeracy, Understanding the World, PE/Sport, Performing Arts, Expressive Arts & Design, Computer Science and Arabic A/B; from Year 1 subjects broaden to English (Reading & Writing), Maths, Science, Humanities, Art, Design Technology, Computer Science/Robotics, Islamic Education and French, with MSC added in Year 2. Sport begins in FS1 with daily PE and structured play, with football, swimming, martial arts, fencing and gymnastics as its foundations, and Performing Arts becomes a weekly commitment from Year 2.
Prep carries every child from Year 3 to Year 6 as learning becomes more independent and connected across subjects, building fluency, accuracy and depth toward readiness for Senior school. From Year 3 students study at least two of French, Spanish and Mandarin alongside Arabic A/B, and PSHE is embedded throughout the week. Gymnastics, fencing, basketball and athletics extend sport through Prep.
Seniors carries students from Year 7 to Year 9 as learning becomes more specialised toward GCSE study: Year 7 lays foundations in English, Maths and Science alongside Humanities, Languages, Arabic and Islamic Education, Year 8 builds toward GCSE pathways, and GCSE preparations begin in Year 9. Social Studies is added in Years 8 and 9. The school currently runs to Year 9 and adds a year group each year toward Year 13.
