Rugby School Dubai
Rugby School Dubai
Rugby School Dubai is the first Middle East campus of Rugby School (UK, founded 1567), operated by Aldar Education and opening for the 2026-27 academic year. Unusually for a new Dubai school it opens as a full through-school from day one, Foundation Stage 1 to Year 13 (ages 3 to 18), on the established 53,000 square metre Nad Al Sheba campus previously occupied by Kent College Dubai. It follows the English National Curriculum to GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level, with Rugby's whole-person philosophy of academic depth, strong pastoral care, sport and the performing arts. Scholarships are offered from Year 7 (up to 20% of tuition) plus a 50% Emirati scholarship (Ruwad al Emarat, Years 4 to 13). Founding Executive Principal Henry Price brings 13 years at Rugby School UK. As a pre-opening school it is not yet inspected or rated by KHDA (DSIB).

Rugby School Dubai opens for the 2026-2027 academic year. KHDA has approved its fee schedule, which runs from AED 70,000 in Foundation Stage 1 to AED 120,000 in Years 12 and 13, and the school publishes the same figures unchanged for 2027/28 and 2028/29. KHDA also records a reduction against every year group, bringing the fee actually charged to between AED 59,518 in Foundation Stage 1 and AED 108,000 in Year 13; the school has separately described lower schedules as being for Emirates and flydubai families and for continuing families, so a new applicant should confirm which rate applies to them before budgeting. Scholarships are available from Year 7 across academic, Arabic, sport, performing arts, visual arts and all-rounder categories, worth up to 20 per cent of tuition, and the Ruwad al Emarat Scholarship covers 50 per cent for Emirati pupils from Year 4 to Year 13. Sibling reductions run from 5 per cent for a second child to 15 per cent from a fourth. The school publishes no registration fee, application fee, payment terms or refund policy yet.
