About This Programme

The MS in Organizational Leadership and Innovation prepares students to transform their organisations by using innovation to drive measurable outcomes. Courses examine technological change and its implications for leadership, foreseeing emerging trends and technologies, creating strategies that use that foresight, leading teams of innovators, building a work environment that encourages experimentation, and helping people change and adapt. The degree is awarded after 33 credit hours and ends with a research thesis. It is taught face to face on the RIT Dubai campus by faculty with expertise in leadership, change management, innovation, strategy, foresight, ethics, negotiations and human resource management.

Entry Requirements

Academic: A bachelor's degree, or the US equivalent, from an accredited college or university, held or in progress, with approximately a B average (3.0 on a 4.0 scale). Applicants below 3.0 may be offered conditional admission. Applicants should have a solid educational or employment record in any field.
English: TOEFL 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based or 79 internet-based; IELTS 6.5; or EmSAT 1550. Applicants who completed all their schooling (K-12) and a bachelor's degree in English in a reference English-speaking country such as the UK, USA, Australia or New Zealand may be exempt. IELTS Indicator, Duolingo, IELTS General Training, PTE Academic and home-based TOEFL are not accepted.

Applicants submit a CV showing professional work experience in the area of study, two letters of recommendation and a personal statement of about 500 words. Final admission decisions are made by RIT's Graduate Department in Rochester, New York.
