About This Programme

The Future Foresight micro-credential equips professionals, managers, policymakers and organisational leaders to anticipate emerging trends, navigate uncertainty and develop sustainable, future-oriented strategies. It covers foresight methods, scenario planning and strategic planning frameworks, combining theory with practice so learners can build foresight frameworks, evaluate alternative scenarios and turn them into action plans. It is made up of three courses from the master's programme, each worth 3 credit hours and built from three modules and a small project, for 9 credit hours in total. Participants starting with RIT Dubai's Professional Training Certification can potentially stack modules into the micro-credential, and could potentially count up to three courses toward the master's.

Entry Requirements

Academic: A bachelor's degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent). Applicants with a CGPA of 2.5 or higher and IELTS 5.5 may be admitted, and, in some programmes, mature applicants with a CGPA above 2.0 may be admitted if they pass an admissions committee interview and meet the standard English test requirements; related work experience can support an application.

English: IELTS 6.0 overall, TOEFL iBT 79 or TOEFL PBT 550. Applicants who completed their schooling (K-12) and a bachelor's degree in English in a reference English-speaking country such as the UK, USA, Australia or New Zealand may be exempt.

Required documents: passport copy, Emirates ID (UAE residents only), bachelor's degree diploma and transcript, an English test result, one letter of recommendation and a CV.
