JSS Private School

JSS Private School is a private co-educational CBSE school located in Al Wasl, Dubai, offering classes from Pre-KG through Grade 12. Established in 2011 as part of the JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP), an Indian-based charitable trust operating over 350 educational institutions globally, the school follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for Kindergarten. JSS Private School serves approximately 2,100 students, primarily of Indian nationality, with 147 teachers providing a student-teacher ratio of 1:19. The school is the sister institution to JSS International School Dubai, which offers the CISCE curriculum. In its most recent KHDA inspection (2023-2024), JSS Private School received an overall rating of Very Good, with Outstanding ratings for personal and social development across all phases and English attainment at Primary, Middle, and Secondary levels. The school was recognised with the Academic Excellence Award at the 10th India Middle East Education Grand Awards 2024.
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Fees are KHDA's approved annual tuition for 2026/2027, unchanged under Dubai's fee freeze. The school's own fee page is still headed "AY 2025-2026" - a year that ended in March 2026, because JSS runs an April to March academic year - while the menu link to that same page reads 26-27. KHDA's fact sheet for every grade carries these figures under 2026-2027. Fees are published monthly, per term and annually; the annual column is shown here. Grades 11 and 12 are priced as one figure each: the school runs Science, Commerce and Humanities streams but attaches no separate fee to any of them. Books, uniform and transport are charged separately, and a resource fee is collected whose amount the school does not publish.

The Kindergarten section follows the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, providing a nurturing, play-based environment that develops curiosity, communication, and social skills. Children learn through exploration, structured play, and creative activities with a gradual transition toward more formal instruction in KG2.
The Primary school follows the CBSE curriculum inspired by the National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2023). Students develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and scientific inquiry through activity-based learning. The curriculum integrates Environmental Studies in lower grades before separating into Science and Social Studies in upper primary.
Subject specialisation begins with separate Science disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and expanded electives. The middle school bridges primary foundations with secondary rigour, introducing formal assessment practices and project-based learning. Students develop critical thinking, research skills, and collaborative problem-solving.
Students follow the CBSE secondary curriculum preparing for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) in Grade 10. Core subjects are supplemented with elective options. Assessment combines internal evaluation with board examinations.
Students choose from Science, Commerce, or Humanities streams for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) in Grade 12. Each stream includes core subjects and electives tailored to career aspirations. University guidance and career counselling support higher education pathways.
