GEMS Legacy School is a co-educational Indian CBSE school in Al Garhoud, Dubai, operated by GEMS Education. It began with seven teachers in portacabins in Karama under founding headmistress Bernadette Pinto, moved to Al Garhoud in 1990 and evolved into The Kindergarten Starters. KHDA's October 2023 inspection recorded 6,316 students on roll, of whom 696 are students of determination, and rated the school Good overall, Good for wellbeing and Good for the provision and outcomes of students of determination. In 2026 the school presented its first CBSE Grade 10 cohort: 255 of 257 registered students sat the examinations, all of them passed, and the school average was 85%, with 41% scoring 90% or above. Grade 11 opens for the 2026-27 academic year. The school is staffed by 353 teachers, including 9 special educators and 4 counsellors, on a 23,500 square metre campus with 227 classrooms.

Grade 11 opens for 2026-27 at AED 21,092, the school's first senior secondary cohort. Mandatory once-a-year services are charged on top of tuition: an e-resource fee of AED 350 for KG1 and KG2, AED 500 for Grades 1 to 5 and AED 700 for Grades 6 to 11, an ID card at AED 10.50 and a diary or journal at AED 21, both inclusive of VAT. Re-enrolment for existing students is up to 5% of tuition or AED 500, whichever is higher, non-refundable and deductible from the first term fees.
