GEMS Modern Academy is the only Indian/IB curriculum school in Dubai rated Outstanding by the KHDA, holding the distinction for over 11 consecutive inspections since 2011. Founded on 18 October 1986 in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, the school serves over 3,860 students from 18 nationalities across Kindergarten to Grade 12. The academy offers a unique dual-curriculum model: the IB Primary Years Programme (Pre-KG to Grade 5), CISCE curriculum (Grades 6–12) through the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC), and the IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11–12. The purpose-built campus features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, 8-lane synthetic athletics track, cricket pitch with floodlit nets, four basketball courts, two football fields, a STEM Lab, Makers Space Innovation Centre, and a fully equipped gym.
