The British International School Abu Dhabi

The British International School Abu Dhabi (BISAD) is a private, co-educational British and international school behind Abu Dhabi University, between Khalifa City B and Mohammed Bin Zayed City, part of Nord Anglia Education. Opened in 2009, it teaches the English National Curriculum from the Early Years Foundation Stage through Cambridge IGCSE, then offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and BTEC International Level 3 in the Sixth Form (FS1 to Year 13, ages 3-18). Home to around 2,200 students from 97 nationalities, it is the only international school in Abu Dhabi to hold Outstanding across both of ADEK's inspection frameworks, rated Outstanding overall and Outstanding for National Identity. Its 2025 IB Diploma cohort averaged 33.9 points (against a global average near 30), and as a Nord Anglia school its students access global collaborations with MIT, UNICEF, IMG Academy and The Juilliard School. The campus includes a 500-seat Performing Arts Centre, learner and competition swimming pools, floodlit rugby pitches and a unique Eco Adventure outdoor learning centre.
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Tuition is the school's own published 2026/27 fee schedule. ADEK's approved figures are shown alongside: they match on Years 1 to 13 to within ADEK's rounding, and sit about 3.9% higher on the two Foundation Stage years, because an approved fee is a ceiling and the school charges below it in early years. Tuition covers textbooks and curricular materials as well as co-curricular activities and the school's Juilliard, UNICEF and MIT collaborations. Uniform, transport, examination fees and any additional learning support are charged separately. ADEK prohibits schools from taking a deposit.
