Brighton College Abu Dhabi (BCAD) is a private, co-educational British school in Bloom Gardens on Abu Dhabi Island, part of Bloom Education and the first international school opened by England's Brighton College — itself named UK School of the Decade. Established in 2011, it teaches the National Curriculum for England from the Early Years Foundation Stage through I/GCSE and A Levels (FS1 to Year 13, ages 3-18), across Pre-Prep, Prep, Senior and Sixth Form sections. Home to around 1,933 students from 75+ nationalities (roughly a quarter Emirati), taught by 148 teachers at about a 1:11 ratio, it is rated Very Good by ADEK with Outstanding governance, and Outstanding under the UK's British Schools Overseas framework. The college sits among the world's top 100 private schools (Spear's) and in the top 1% globally for value-added; its 2025 leavers received 149 Russell Group offers, with 44% of A Level grades at A*-A. Facilities include a 450-seat theatre, a competition swimming pool and 200+ weekly co-curricular activities.
