About Amity University Dubai

Amity University Dubai is the UAE campus of the Amity Education Group, one of the largest private education networks originating in India, established in Dubai International Academic City in 2011. Set on an award-winning campus of around 700,000 sq ft, it educates more than 2,500 students from over 70 nationalities across the Amity Business School, the School of Engineering, Architecture & Interior Design, and the School of Humanities, Arts & Applied Sciences. Teaching is in English on a US-style semester credit system, with a strong emphasis on employability, research, and industry placement. Amity Dubai is licensed by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research through the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and holds international quality assurance from WASC (WSCUC) in the United States and the QAA in the United Kingdom, alongside professional recognitions including AACSB, IACBE, ACCA and CIMA. AED 36K – AED 77K

Amity prices tuition per credit hour: AED 2,100–2,200 per credit for bachelor's degrees and AED 2,200–3,000 per credit for master's degrees. The annual figure on each programme card is indicative of a standard full-time year; total programme cost = credits × per-credit rate (for example, a 120-credit bachelor's is approximately AED 252,000 before scholarships). The part-time Executive MBA works out at around AED 36,300 per year. Scholarships of up to 50% are available on all degrees, and all fees exclude VAT.

Registration deposit: AED 2,000–3,000 (refundable)
Tuition is charged per credit hour. Semester fees are payable in two equal instalments (the first upfront, the second by post-dated cheque within two months of the semester start). International students requiring a visa pay the annual fee in a single instalment. All fees exclude VAT.
Bank transfer, cheque, or card via the online payment portal (payment.amityuniversity.ae).

Admissions

Admissions & entry requirements

Amity University Dubai welcomes applications year-round on a rolling basis. Entry is based on prior academic performance, English-language proficiency and programme-specific requirements. International students may apply from anywhere in the world, and the admissions team reviews each application on its merits.

Apply Online

Complete the online application at application.amityuniversity.ae and upload your supporting documents. A non-refundable application fee of AED 100 applies.

Review & Offer

The Admissions Committee reviews your application against the programme requirements. Successful candidates receive an offer letter, which may be conditional or unconditional.

Pay & Enrol

Accept your offer and pay the registration fee and first tuition instalment to confirm your place, then complete enrolment and (for international students) the visa process.

Entry requirements by level

Foundation Programme
Academic

Completion of five O-Levels / IGCSEs / GCSEs (or an equivalent qualification such as WAEC). The two-semester foundation prepares students who do not yet meet direct undergraduate entry for full degree study.

English

IELTS 5.0 or equivalent for applicants from non-English-medium backgrounds; English-medium curricula are exempt.

Notes

On successful completion, students progress into an Amity bachelor's programme.

Undergraduate (Bachelor's)
Academic

A Grade 12 / higher-secondary certificate (12 years of schooling) with a minimum 60% average, plus a Mathematics requirement (EmSAT Achieve Maths ≥600, Grade-12 Maths ≥60%, or 60% on the Amity placement test). Subject-specific thresholds apply: Engineering (Aerospace/Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) requires ≥80% in Mathematics and Physics and ≥80% in Chemistry or Biology; Computer Science, IT and Biotechnology require a relevant science; Forensic Sciences requires ≥60% in Physics/Chemistry/Biology.

English

IELTS 5.0+ (or equivalent) for non-English-medium curricula; English-medium curricula are exempt; the UAE MoE curriculum requires ≥80% in Grade-12 English. Conditional admission with remedial English is possible (IELTS 3.0–4.9).

Notes

Architecture and Interior Design require a design aptitude test; some design programmes may request a portfolio.

Postgraduate (Master's)
Academic

A relevant bachelor's degree from a recognised institution with a CGPA of at least 3.0/4.0. Conditional tiers apply for lower CGPA. MBA/EMBA applicants from non-business backgrounds may be required to take up to 9 bridging credits; the EMBA requires a minimum of 3 years' work experience and prioritises candidates in executive roles.

English

EmSAT ≥1400, TOEFL 550 (79 iBT) or IELTS Academic 6.0; exemption if the previous degree was taught in English.

Notes

GMAT/GRE (taken within 3 years) strengthens business-school applications. Some programmes may require an interview.
