Abu Dhabi Grammar School (Canada)

Abu Dhabi Grammar School (Canada) is a private, co-educational Canadian school in Al Zahiyah (the Tourist Club Area) of central Abu Dhabi, founded in 1994 and still owned and directed by its founder, Mrs. Fatima Assad, making it one of the emirate's longest-running Canadian schools. It delivers the Nova Scotia curriculum from KG2 to Grade 12, and graduates earn the Nova Scotia High School Diploma under the same requirements as public schools in Nova Scotia, with accreditation from the Nova Scotia Department of Education. A community of 1,083 students from around 50 nationalities is taught by 69 teachers, with a 1:1 Chromebook programme from Grade 7. ADEK reconfirmed its Good rating in October 2025, held since 2018 (up from Acceptable in 2016), and noted Very Good progress in English, mathematics and science in Senior High.
