Virginia International Private School (VIPS) is a private co-educational American-curriculum school in Shakhbout City (Khalifa City B), Abu Dhabi, opened in September 2015 and part of Aldar Education since 2023. It delivers a STEAM-integrated Common Core curriculum from Pre-KG to Grade 12, leading to a NEASC-recognized US High School Diploma, and is an official College Board-registered SAT testing centre. Serving a predominantly Emirati community of 1,312 students (~88%), the school maintained its ADEK Good rating at the 2024-25 inspection, its second consecutive Good, with kindergarten teaching and elementary science judged Very Good. The campus features three science laboratories, two libraries of around 12,000 books, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a gymnasium and an Imagination Room for early years, with Read Write Inc. phonics anchoring the KG phase.
