Summit International School
Summit International School is a private, co-educational American-curriculum school in the Al Danah / Madinat Al Zayed area of Abu Dhabi city, founded in 2013. It follows the State of California Common Core standards from KG1 to Grade 12, leading to a US High School Diploma, and is accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA). The school is co-educational from KG to Grade 4 and teaches in single-gender classes from Grade 5 to Grade 12. Rated Very Good by ADEK (upgraded from Good, with English and Mathematics rated Very Good across all four phases), it serves around 1,616 students from 51 nationalities, the largest group Jordanian, and benchmarks strongly in PISA, TIMSS and PIRLS.

The school publishes an ADEK approved column beside the price it bills, and nobody pays the approved column: its own note reads that a special discount applies to all kindergarten students, and that from Grade 1 a single student receives 5% off tuition and siblings 10%. The figures shown are the single-student price; a sibling family pays AED 26,928 in Grade 1 rising to AED 34,768 in Grades 10 to 12. A further 2% applies to anyone paying the year in one payment. The registration fee of AED 1,000 is the first instalment, not an extra charge. Charged separately: books AED 1,200 to 2,200 from Grade 1 (kindergarten books are free), uniform AED 680 and bus AED 5,000.
