About Saint Joseph's School
Saint Joseph's School is a private Indian-curriculum (CBSE) school in Al Mushrif, Abu Dhabi, for Grades 1 to 12. Founded in 1967, it is run by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Theresa under the management of the Apostolic Vicariate of Southern Arabia of the Catholic Church. The school first stood with the church on the Corniche; the foundation of the present church and school buildings in Al Mushrif was laid on 19 March 1981, and its Golden Jubilee building was blessed on 19 March 2021. It admits girls from Grade 1 to Grade 12 and boys from Grade 1 to Grade 4, and teaches in English. ADEK rated it Very Good at its inspection of 11 to 14 November 2024, as at its previous inspection. Grades 11 and 12 offer Science and Commerce streams to the CBSE Class 12 examination; every Class 10 candidate passed from 2016 to 2025, and the Class 12 pass rate was 97.22% in 2025. The school's motto is 'Shine where you are'.

Tuition is the school's 2026-2027 fee structure, unchanged from 2025-2026 and equal to the copy of ADEK's 2026-2027 approved-fee letter (10 April 2026) that the school posts. ADEK's later version of the letter (15 July 2026, on TAMM) shows AED 80 more in Grades 3 to 9 because it counts the standardised assessment fee in tuition; the school bills that AED 80 separately as an ACER exam fee with Term 1, so families in those grades pay ADEK's figure. Grades 11 and 12 cost AED 11,460 in Science and AED 10,090 in Commerce. Neither ADEK nor the school publishes an all-in annual total.

Facilities
Science Laboratories
Physics, chemistry and biology laboratories: three, by the school's facilities page and CBSE disclosure (its infrastructure table also lists a composite science lab). The biology laboratory has digital microscopes and a specimen museum.
Computer Labs
Three computer labs: a primary lab in the main building with 30 laptops, and two labs in the Jubilee building with 30 desktops each and interactive smartboards (the school).
Two Libraries
A primary library on the first floor of the main building and a high-school library on the third floor of the Jubilee building (the school), with about 21,000 books including e-sources by the school's count; ADEK (November 2024) counted 18,945 physical books, about 700 of them in Arabic, and a dedicated reading room.
Auditorium
A spacious auditorium (ADEK, November 2024) in the Jubilee building (the school's history page), used for Talents Day, elocution competitions and Model United Nations sessions; the school's reports also name the Bishop Gremoli Memorial Hall, where its 2026-27 investiture was held.
Indoor Sports Hall
Indoor sports rooms in the Jubilee building (the school's history page); ADEK lists an indoor gym. The school's reports place inter-house basketball in "the school gymnasium", and it hosted the CBSE cluster under-19 girls' badminton tournament on its courts on 9 September 2024.
Maths and Language Labs
A mathematics laboratory and a language laboratory in the Jubilee building (the school's history page; its CBSE disclosure gives 53 and 75 square metres).
Playground

A clinic approved by Abu Dhabi's Department of Health, with a full-time nurse (the school, which calls it "a state of the art facility"); SEHA nurses give the national school vaccinations each year.
