Electrical Engineering
About This Programme
Electronics, signals, power and communication systems.
Course Highlights
- Circuits, communications, control systems and signal processing
- VLSI, embedded systems and micro-electro-mechanical systems
- ABET-accredited; alumni at ARM and ETH Zurich
What You'll Study
Studied full-time over four years on the Saadiyat Island campus. Students complete the NYUAD Core Curriculum, a shared engineering foundation, major and elective coursework, may study away across NYU's global network, and finish with a two-semester Senior Design Capstone.
Engineering Core
A foundation shared by all NYUAD engineering majors across science, mathematics and core engineering skills.
- Foundations of Science
- Engineering Mathematics, including Complex Analysis
- Computer Programming for Engineers
- Design and Innovation
- Digital Logic
- Numerical Methods
- Circuits Fundamentals
- Engineering Ethics
Electrical Engineering Specialisation
Covers integrated circuits and fabrication, digital and analog circuit design, VLSI and embedded systems, communications and signal processing.
- Advanced Circuits
- Signals and Systems
