About This Programme

The Clinical Attachment is a clinical training programme offered by Dubai Health and listed among MBRU's programmes. Attachés gain observation or hands-on experience, with opportunities for clinical rotations at Dubai Health facilities and evaluation by expert supervisors, and receive a Certificate of Training Completion from Dubai Health when they complete the programme. It is open to UAE nationals, residents and visitors who are individual healthcare providers, doctors with a practice gap or university students. Each application covers between two weeks (10 working days) and 12 weeks (60 working days), and a longer period needs more than one application; attachés are expected to attend every working day, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Placement depends on the availability of training slots and each facility's capacity. There are three routes: an observership attachment; a hands-on attachment, which requires a valid Dubai Health Authority trainee licence and malpractice insurance covering Dubai Health; and an attachment for Dubai Health employees, who apply with a no-objection letter from their line manager using their Dubai Health email.
