Mirdif American School is a co-educational private school in Al Mizhar, Dubai, that has run an American curriculum since 1995. The school moved to its purpose-built Algeria Street campus in 2009 and added a multi-purpose activities building in 2023. Pre-K through Grade 10 is currently offered, with the school positioned at the affordable end of the American curriculum range in Dubai (annual tuition starts under 26,000 AED). KHDA inspectors have rated the school Good for five consecutive cycles, most recently in October 2023, with Outstanding marks for health and safety and parent partnerships. Additional yearly costs: books and learning resources AED 1,238-2,478 (grade-dependent), uniform AED 605-619, skill-development programmes AED 2,000-3,100, national-agenda parameter assessments AED 1,700-1,920, school ID AED 100 (one-off). Grades 1-2 require a school-issued laptop at AED 2,000 (one-off). Grades 3-10 must provide their own laptop or tablet to the school specification.
