Mirdif American School is a co-educational private school in Al Mizhar, Dubai, that has run an American curriculum since 1995. The school moved to its purpose-built Algeria Street campus in 2009 and added a multi-purpose activities building in 2023. Pre-K through Grade 10 is currently offered, with the school positioned at the affordable end of the American curriculum range in Dubai (annual tuition starts under 26,000 AED). KHDA inspectors have rated the school Good for five consecutive cycles, most recently in October 2023, with Outstanding marks for health and safety and parent partnerships. The school is NEASC accredited and serves a strongly Emirati cohort (around 74 per cent of the 698 students are local), with structured English-language and special-educational-needs support for students new to the curriculum.

Additional yearly costs: books and learning resources AED 1,238 to 2,478 depending on grade, uniform AED 605 to 619, skill-development programmes AED 2,000 to 3,100, national-agenda parameter assessments AED 1,700 to 1,920, and a one-off school ID of AED 100. Grades 1 and 2 also require a laptop with warranty at AED 2,000. The school teaches Pre-K to Grade 10; KHDA additionally licenses a Grade 11 place that the school does not currently offer.

KHDA 2023–2024 inspection
Early years grounded in play-based learning aligned to American foundation standards. Phonics, early numeracy, social skills and an introduction to Arabic.
California State Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics, Next Generation Science Standards in Science. Cambridge-style structured reading programmes alongside Arabic and Islamic Studies.
Full subject-specialist teaching across English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arabic and Islamic Studies. Pre-algebra in Grade 7 and Algebra I in Grade 8 follow the US college-track sequence.
The school currently runs the freshman and sophomore years of US high school: algebra and geometry, biology, English literature and composition. Students transfer to a partner senior high (Grades 11-12) to complete the US diploma.
