North American International School (NAIS) is an American curriculum school in Al Mizhar 1, Dubai, founded in 2007 by Mr and Mrs Tahir and accredited by NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges). The school offers education from KG1 through Grade 12, grounded in the California Common Core State Standards, preparing students for a globally recognised High School Diploma requiring 24.5 credit hours, 60 hours of work experience, and 40 hours of community service. NAIS serves over 56 nationalities with a teacher-student ratio of 1:8. Rated Acceptable by KHDA for 2023-2024, the school achieved Good ratings in curriculum quality across all phases, Good learning skills across all phases, and Very Good personal responsibility at KG and Primary levels. The purpose-built 20,000 sq m campus features six science labs, a STEM lab, four computer labs, a 600-seat theatre, three art rooms, two music rooms, two artificial turf football fields, and dedicated SEND offices and academic intervention spaces.

Annual tuition fees

Fees shown are what families are billed. The school publishes two columns - a total tuition of AED 30,664 to 49,061 and a lower yearly payable - and KHDA registers the difference as a discount in its main fee block, which means it applies to every family rather than being an offer. The school's own table calls it an "Early Settlement Discount", but KHDA lists a separate early-payment scheme of 5% among its conditional discounts, so the reduction in the price above is not conditional on paying early. Tuition is billed in three instalments of roughly 40%, 30% and 30%. Mandatory book and uniform charges apply on top, and examination fees of AED 400 to 700 by grade, a Grade 12 graduation fee of AED 750 and transport of AED 4,025 to 8,395 a year are charged separately.
