Lycée Français Louis Massignon

Lycée Français Louis Massignon (LLM) is a private, co-educational French-curriculum school on Rabdan Street, Abu Dhabi island, established in 1972 as the first French school in the capital and managed within the AEFE network. It follows the French national curriculum from Maternelle (Petite Section) to Terminale, with a British International Section (SIB) providing reinforced English from CP and up to six languages taught (three from nursery), plus Arabic per the UAE MoE. Pupils sit the Diplôme National du Brevet at the end of collège and the French Baccalauréat at the end of lycée. AEFE-homologated across all levels, and host to the AEFE Regional Training Institute for the Middle East, it is rated Very Good by ADEK (2024/25), with Health & Safety and Parent Partnerships rated Outstanding. It serves around 1,700 students from some 40 nationalities (the largest group French) and recorded a 100% Baccalauréat pass rate in 2025.
Fees read from the school's published 2026-27 fee schedule; ADEK rating from its 2024-25 inspection report. How Talem verifies →
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Fees are the ADEK-approved schedule the school continues to charge for 2026/2027: it did not seek an increase, and ADEK's approval letter states the schedule stays valid for future years until a later one replaces it. Tuition is flat within each level band, at AED 31,450 for maternelle, AED 35,710 for elementaire, AED 40,540 for college and AED 49,210 for lycee, and is billed in three instalments of 40%, 30% and 30% due 1 September, 1 January and 1 April. Sibling discounts apply from the third child at 10% and the fourth at 15%, so the first two children pay full price. The optional British International Section costs AED 3,000 in elementaire and college and AED 4,500 at lycee, with no charge in Terminale, and examination fees are billed in term two: AED 100 for the DNB, AED 290 for the anticipated baccalaureate and AED 720 for the full baccalaureate. Transport is AED 5,643 a year for the first two children, falling to AED 4,257, AED 3,078 and AED 1,436 for the third, fourth and fifth. Books are included up to elementaire; secondary families buy their own. Uniform is compulsory and bought from an external supplier, and the canteen is pay-as-you-go.
