International Community School – Al Mushrif
International Community School – Al Mushrif (ICS) is a private, co-educational school in the Al Mushrif area of Abu Dhabi, founded in 1990 (originally as Ibrahimya School) and the original, flagship campus of the ICS group. It runs an American curriculum based on the California Common Core State Standards and NGSS, alongside the IB Diploma Programme (it is an authorised IB World School) and Advanced Placement at high school, plus the UAE Ministry of Education national subjects. The school is co-educational from KG to Grade 4 and teaches in single-gender classes from Grade 5 to Grade 12 (the AP stream is taught mixed). Accredited by Cognia and rated Very Good by ADEK, a second consecutive Very Good, it serves around 1,500 students from more than 90 nationalities, the largest group Emirati.
