Lycée Français International Théodore Monod

Lycée Français International Théodore Monod (LFITM) is a private, co-educational French-curriculum school on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, established in 2006 and managed by AFLEC as a partner establishment of the Mission laïque française within the AEFE network. It follows the French national curriculum, homologated by the French Ministry of Education across all 15 levels from Petite Section to Terminale, delivered with a bilingual French-English pathway, layered Cambridge IGCSE English certification and, since 2023, an American International Section. Pupils sit the Diplôme National du Brevet at the end of collège and the French Baccalauréat at the end of lycée, with Arabic taught per the UAE MoE. Rated Very Good by ADEK (achieved for the first time in the 2023/24 cycle), it serves around 1,500 students from 59 nationalities, the largest group French, on a purpose-built Saadiyat campus, and recorded a 100% Baccalauréat pass rate in 2025.
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
The price shown is what families actually pay for 2026-2027. The school publishes two columns side by side, the fee ADEK has approved and its own fee after a reduction, and it charges the approved figure in maternelle and primaire but below it from 6ème upwards - AED 2,870 less in Collège, AED 7,323 less at 3ème and AED 9,784 less in Terminale. Both columns are shown. Fees are annual, paid in three instalments of 40% on 5 October, 30% on 31 January and 30% on 30 April. Petite Section is new to the fee table this year and is priced by the school alone; ADEK's approved list begins at KG1, so no regulator figure is shown for it. Tuition excludes textbooks, canteen meals, uniform, school trips and after-school activities. The bilingual programme costs AED 4,500 more in maternelle and AED 5,250 from CP to 2nde and for the BFI.
