Lycée Français Jean Mermoz South
Lycée Français Jean Mermoz South is Campus Sud of the Lycée Français Jean Mermoz (LFJM), a French-curriculum school in Dubai and a partner school of the AEFE, the network of French schools abroad. The campus opened on Hessa Street in September 2024 with Petite Section to CM2 and has taught the secondary years since September 2025. KHDA licenses it separately from the Al Quoz campus, as Lycee Francais Jean Mermoz South L.L.C (Pre-primary to Grade 12, founded 2024), and has not inspected it yet. The school reported in July 2026 that its Campus Sud secondary, from Sixième to Terminale, had been homologated (the AEFE's directory still lists Petite Section to CM2). Since the 2026-27 school year the campus teaches every level from maternelle to lycée, with a building dedicated to the secondary years (science laboratories, study rooms and an Agora for lycée students); the school lists two canteens, two gymnasiums, two libraries and an outdoor rugby pitch, with an auditorium due in January 2027 and a sports village in spring 2027. From September 2027 the campus plans to open the STMG technological baccalauréat (management and business), which the school says no other French lycée in the UAE offers. Both campuses hold the French Génération 2030 sports label at level 3, and Campus Sud received the AEFE's EFE3D sustainability label at level 1 for 2025-26.

Tuition is KHDA's approved fee for 2026-27, unchanged at the school's request, less a discount KHDA registers for every year group from Petite Section to Grade 11 (3.54% to 11.58%), so families pay the same fees as at the school's Al Quoz campus: AED 39,789 in Petite Section to AED 64,634 in Première. The school's fee page (headed 2025-2026) prices Terminale at AED 68,525, 7.4% below its approved AED 74,000; KHDA's 2026-27 Grade 12 fact sheet registers no discount, and KHDA's directory lists fees only to Grade 11. KHDA's own totals differ from the school's figures by up to AED 28. Fees are due in three instalments, before each term in August, December and March. Tuition excludes textbooks and individual IT equipment (an iPad from 6ème, the school's fee page says).

The French école maternelle is one three-year cycle organised around the five areas of the national programme: using language in all its forms, physical activity, artistic activity, first mathematical tools and exploring the world. It builds on play, handling objects, discovery and exploration, and English is taught from Petite Section, with Arabic.
The école élémentaire covers Cycle 2 (CP, CE1, CE2), the cycle of fundamental learning, and the first two years of Cycle 3 (CM1, CM2), which continues into 6ème. French, mathematics and English form the core, with Arabic, and from CM1 subjects become more specific: literature, history, geography, mathematics, experimental sciences and technology.
Collège runs from Sixième to Troisième: the end of Cycle 3 (6ème) and Cycle 4 (5ème, 4ème, 3ème), with a specialist teacher for each subject, ending with the Diplôme National du Brevet. Spanish and technology start in 5ème, and pupils can join an English literature group with eight English periods a week. Campus Sud has taught the secondary years since September 2025.
Lycée runs from Seconde to Terminale towards the French baccalauréat, with a guidance programme (Parcours Avenir) leading to the choice of three spécialités for Première. The school lists eight: history-geography, geopolitics and political science; humanities, literature and philosophy; English (contemporary world); mathematics; computer science (NSI); physics-chemistry; life and earth sciences; and economics and social sciences. Campus Sud teaches the lycée from the 2026-27 school year, and the school plans to open the STMG technological series there in Première from September 2027.

Two libraries are among Campus Sud's installations (the school's Campus Sud page, October 2026), and the school's online library catalogue lists a BCD and a CDI for Campus Sud; a teacher-librarian (professeure documentaliste) ran a workshop at Campus Sud in January 2026.

A sports village with a gymnastics hall, a large gymnasium, a dojo and a multi-sport hall is due in spring 2027, and the school's July 2026 posts also announced an outdoor Olympic pool and a covered pool for Campus Sud. In 2024-25 Campus Sud pupils swam each week at the Campus Nord pool.

Head of Campus Sud: the school's policies page names him Proviseur and Directeur du campus, and its October 2026 child protection policy names him the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the secondary at Campus Sud. KHDA's directory lists him as the principal of Lycée Français Jean Mermoz South.
