Lycée Français Jean Mermoz is a French-curriculum school in Dubai and a partner school of the AEFE, the network of French schools abroad. This profile is its Campus Nord in Al Quoz 1, the school's first campus, which opened in 2017; the second campus, on Hessa Street, holds its own KHDA licence. For 2026-27 the school moved its lycée students to Campus Sud, so Campus Nord teaches Petite Section to 3ème, following the French national curriculum in French up to the Diplôme national du brevet (KHDA's licence for this campus, Lycee Francais Jean Mermoz L.L.C, still runs to Grade 12). English is taught five periods a week from Petite Section, following the Cambridge curriculum in the early years, and the school is an official examination centre for Cambridge English, with Cambridge English certificates from CE2 and preparation for IGCSE First and Second Language English from 3ème. Arabic is taught from Maternelle, for native and non-native speakers, and Spanish from 5ème. In its 2023-2024 KHDA inspection the school was rated Very Good overall, with Outstanding attainment and progress in English in all four phases, and Outstanding judgements for personal development, for parents and the community, and for management, staffing, facilities and resources. Campus Nord is led by Stéphanie García Senín, with Thomas Dentinger as the school's director and founding principal; the school's first baccalauréat class, in 2026, had a 100% pass rate. Campus Nord renewed the AEFE's EFE3D sustainability label at level 3 in 2026, both campuses hold the French Génération 2030 sports label at level 3, and the school runs sports academies in football, basketball and swimming, a musical academy (choir and orchestra), a chess academy, the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and the Brevet d'Initiation Aéronautique.

Tuition is KHDA's approved fee for 2026-27, unchanged at the school's request, and KHDA registers no discount: AED 39,789 in Petite Section to AED 61,893 in 3ème. KHDA's 2026-27 sheets for this licence also price Grades 10 to 12 (AED 64,104 to 68,525), but the school now teaches the lycée at Campus Sud, which bills the same figures. The school's fee page, headed 2025-2026 and "KHDA approved, June 2025", prints the same fees for both campuses. Fees are due in three instalments, before each term in August, December and March. Tuition excludes textbooks and individual IT equipment (an iPad from 6ème, the school's fee page says).

KHDA 2023–2024 inspection
The French national Maternelle programme, organised around the five official learning domains. English is taught five periods a week from Petite Section following the Cambridge curriculum, and KHDA rated attainment and progress in English Outstanding in this phase. Children in the later stages of Maternelle learn Arabic for two sessions of 45 minutes a week on a modified Ministry of Education programme for early years. Personal development is Outstanding. Islamic Education and Arabic as a first language are not applicable in this phase.
The French national primary curriculum across cycle 2 (CP, CE1, CE2) and the first two years of cycle 3 (CM1, CM2), which continues into 6ème. English continues at five periods a week, organised by level, with optional Cambridge English certificates (Young Learners, KET, PET, FCE) from CE2. KHDA rated attainment and progress in English Outstanding, and progress in the language of instruction Outstanding, in this phase. Arabic is taught as a first and as an additional language to Ministry of Education standards, and progress in both improved to Good.
The French national Collège curriculum from 6ème to 3ème, leading to the Diplôme national du brevet. Spanish and Technologie begin in 5ème. English is streamed by competence, with a Literature Option of eight periods a week for students taking English as a first language, and preparation for IGCSE First and Second Language English from 3ème. KHDA rated attainment and progress in English Outstanding in this phase, progress in the language of instruction Outstanding, and progress in Islamic Education and in Arabic Good.
