The Indian High School - Al Garhoud (IHS AG) is a branch campus of The Indian High School, the first and longest-standing Indian education institution in the Gulf, originally founded in 1961. This Al Garhoud branch, established in 1988, is a non-profit co-educational school following the Indian (CBSE) curriculum from Pre-Primary through Grade 4. Rated Good by KHDA for 2023-2024, the school achieved Outstanding ratings in personal and social development and health and safety across all phases. IHS AG integrates technology and innovation into learning, offers enrichment programmes including sports, creative arts, school clubs, and EXPO events, and supports students through counselling, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives. The school emphasises sustainability, positive education, digital fluency, and global learning. Weekend sports clubs run on Saturdays and Sundays alongside before- and after-school activities.

Fees are KHDA-approved annual tuition for 2026/2027, charged over ten months. The Indian High School is a not-for-profit institution and this campus teaches Pre-KG to Grade 4. Pre-KG is priced separately at AED 21,000; from KG1 onwards the subsidised rate applies, which is why fees fall sharply after Pre-KG. A once-yearly mandatory charge covering exam materials, laboratory, e-learning and technology runs from AED 804 to 1,250 by grade, and new admissions pay a non-refundable facility fee of AED 2,100. New students pay an application fee of AED 500; re-enrolment is up to 5% of tuition or AED 500, whichever is higher, deductible from term one.
