About This Programme

One-year postgraduate MA (Master of Arts) Interior Architecture and Design exploring the symbiotic relationship between interior design and interior architecture. Emphasis on human-centred design, regenerative approaches, circular economy concepts, sustainability, digital innovation, business enterprise, and life-cycle management. Mandatory modules (Sep intake Year 1): Interior Architecture Tectonics, Tools and Technology; Design Thinking; Sustainable Design & Management; Interior Architecture, Communities, Engagement, and Practice (Jan); Research Methodologies (Jan); Final Project (May). January intake follows same modules in shifted order. Optional modules: Design Technologies, Business Enterprise. Entry: a good relevant Honours degree (first or second class) or equivalent overseas qualification; Bachelor's must be recognised by UAE Ministry of Education. Candidates with less than a good Honours degree but compensating qualifications/experience may be admitted to the Postgraduate Diploma with possible MSc transfer based on performance. IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5). September and January intakes. Full-time or part-time. Tuition AED 99,528/year full-time (incl. VAT) or AED 49,764/year part-time. Accreditations: UAE MoHESR; UK Royal Charter. 90%+ graduates in graduate-level jobs or further study within six months. Inter-campus transfer available via Go Global.

Entry Requirements

Academic: For MSc entry, a good relevant Honours degree (first or second class) or equivalent overseas qualifications will be considered. Given the clear practical element of the programmes, we will also consider non-graduate candidates holding less than a good Honours degree, or its equivalent, but with compensating qualifications or experience may be admitted to the Postgraduate Diploma programme. Transfer to the MSc will be possible later on if exams and course work are at MSc level.
