About This Programme
4-year BA (Hons) Fashion Branding and Promotion, introduced in 2021. Combines fashion communication, marketing, branding, and management. Distinct from a pure Fashion Design programme: emphasises the commercial and brand-building aspects of the fashion industry rather than design-only skills. Year 1 mandatory: Design Context and Process, Design Communication (Sep); Design Prototyping, Design Challenge (Jan). Year 2 mandatory: Design Thinking, Creative Advertising, MoGraph and Content Creation (Sep); Design Research Methods, Phygital Experiences and Environments (Jan). Year 2 optional: Artistically Intelligent Design, Trend Forecasting and Media Content Production, Circular Economy for Design, Product Innovation, Design Simulation and Modelling. Year 3 mandatory: Professional Practice, Heritage and Contemporary Luxury Branding, Fashion Creative Direction (Sep); Planning Design Research (Jan). Year 3 optional: Industry Placement, Live project. Year 4 (Honours): Professional Creative Futures (Sep), Design Showcase (Jan), Honours Project (full-year). Year 4 optional pathways: Marketing Management and Strategy, Technology and Innovation. Curriculum underpinned by photography, 3D design, branding strategies, and marketing plans. Year 1 entry: A-Level CCD (or BBBB AS); CBSE 65%; American HS 70% + SAT I 1000; Tawjihiyya 80% (Elite 75%); IB 24; BTEC L3 MMM; WAEC B2; FBISE 70%; Russian/Kazakhstan Attestat grade 5 + IELTS 6.0; French Bac 12/20 + IELTS 6.0; Lebanese Bac 80% or 13/20 + IELTS 6.0; Scottish Highers BBBB. Year 2 advanced entry: completion of first year of a recognised related-field degree with strong portfolio. IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5). September intake. Tuition AED 82,264/year (incl. VAT), total AED 329,056. Career outcomes: branding, promotion, advertising, styling, marketing.
