About This Programme

One-year MSc Design Management at the intersection of design practice and strategic business management. Focus on emerging design applications in finance, health, hospitality, and medical care. Mandatory modules (all intakes): Design Thinking, Strategic Design, Sustainable Design & Management, Change Management, Research Methodologies, Masters Project: Academic Paper. Optional modules: Design Technologies, User Experience Design. Entry: a good relevant Honours degree (first or second class) or overseas equivalent. Non-graduates with compensating qualifications/experience may enter Postgraduate Diploma with MSc transfer option. IELTS 6.0 (no component below 5.5). September and January intakes. Full-time 1 year; part-time also available. Tuition AED 99,528/year full-time (incl. VAT) or AED 49,764/year part-time. Accreditations: UAE MoHESR, UK QAA. 90%+ graduates in graduate-level jobs or further study within six months. Access to cutting-edge design studios and photography labs. Inter-campus transfer available via Go Global to UK and partner universities.

Entry Requirements

Academic: For MSc entry, a good relevant Honours degree (first or second class) or equivalent overseas qualifications will be considered. Given the clear practical element of the programmes, we will also consider non-graduate candidates holding less than a good Honours degree, or its equivalent, but with compensating qualifications or experience may be admitted to the Postgraduate Diploma programme. Transfer to the MSc will be possible later on if exams and course work are at MSc level.
