About This Programme
One-year MSc in applied cyber security covering cryptography, digital forensics, malware analysis, access control, authentication methods, policy management, and intrusion detection. Mandatory modules: Computer Network Security (Sep), Advanced Network Security (Jan), Digital Forensics (Jan), Research Methods and Project Planning (Jan), Masters Project and Dissertation (May). Optional modules choose from: Databases and Information Systems, Data Mining and Machine Learning, Rigorous Methods for Software Engineering, Industrial Programming, Software Engineering Foundations, Applied Development and Operations (DevOps), Advanced Software Engineering, Big Data Management, Strategic Project Management. Entry: a good relevant Honours degree (first or upper second class) with substantial academic component in computing or IT including databases and programming; engineering or mathematics backgrounds also considered. IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0). September and January intakes. Tuition AED 107,484/year full-time (incl. VAT) or AED 53,742/year part-time. 90%+ graduates in graduate-level jobs or further study within six months. Inter-campus transfer available via Go Global.
