GEMS Cambridge International School Dubai

GEMS Cambridge International School Dubai (CIS) is a British curriculum school in Al Twar 1, founded in 1983 in Karama as The Cambridge High School and settled on its present campus since 2020. Part of GEMS Education, it teaches the UK National Curriculum with Cambridge International qualifications from Foundation Stage to Year 13, alongside Oxford AQA, Pearson Edexcel and BTEC pathways. KHDA has rated the school Good in all 13 inspections since 2009-2010, with Very Good for both inclusion and wellbeing in 2023-2024, and it is accredited under the UK Department for Education's British Schools Overseas scheme. The school teaches well over 2,997 students from around 69 nationalities. In the 2024-2025 examinations 45% of IGCSE entries were graded A*/A and 35% of A Level entries A*-A, against a UK national average of 23.3%, and over the last three years three students have topped the world and eighteen the UAE in Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards. The campus has a covered swimming pool, an astroturfed football field, an indoor sports arena, four ICT labs, and a media lab with its own radio station; the school is a Microsoft Showcase School and a CISCO Academy. Co-curricular life includes a licensed Duke of Edinburgh International Award centre, outdoor expeditions to Fujairah, Oman and Mauritius, and a debating programme competing in the Dubai Debate League and Gulf Debates.
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Tuition is held flat for 2026-2027: the school's KHDA fee fact sheet records that it "requested not to increase the tuition fees for the academic year 2026-2027". Fees exclude uniform, books and stationery, transport, and some extracurricular activities. The school's own fee page advertises only the GEMS FAB credit-card saving. Its KHDA fee fact sheet additionally lists maximum approved rates for a sibling discount (up to 25% for a fourth child, up to 50% for a fifth) and an academic scholarship (up to 20%), but these are approved ceilings under "Other Discount Scheme (As applicable)" rather than advertised offers. Confirm any discount directly with the school.
