The Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Health Administration (PH-HA) provides students with an integrated understanding of public health and the organizational, managerial, and policy dimensions of healthcare systems. The program builds foundational knowledge in life sciences and public health while emphasizing specialized skills in planning, implementing, assessing, and evaluating health programs and services. Students study the structures and functions of healthcare systems, explore the determinants of population health, and analyze the causes and consequences of health disparities. The curriculum develops analytical and critical thinking skills needed to address the complex challenges faced by health organizations. Students gain experience in evaluating health services, applying evidence-based approaches, and designing solutions that comply with national and international standards. Ethical decision-making, legal and economic considerations, and societal factors are integrated throughout coursework to strengthen professional judgment. Training in communication and leadership equips students to work effectively both independently and in teams, preparing them for administrative and policy-focused roles.
