Belvedere British School (BBS) is a private, co-educational British school in Mohammed Bin Zayed (MBZ) City, Abu Dhabi, named after and affiliated with Belvedere Preparatory School in Liverpool (130+ years of heritage). Opened in 2012, it teaches the National Curriculum for England — using the International Primary Curriculum in primary — from Foundation Stage 2 to Year 13 (ages 4-18), leading to IGCSE, AS and A Level; classes are mixed through upper primary and gender-separated thereafter. A diverse, community-style school of around 780 students from 40+ nationalities (roughly a fifth Emirati), it is rated Very Good by ADEK (held since May 2022, up from Good in 2019) and is accredited by BSME and BSO. With affordable mid-range fees (AED 25,760-33,520) and outstanding Post-16 English attainment, around 90% of surveyed parents rate it good value for money.
