The Australian School of Abu Dhabi (ASAD) is a private co-educational school in Shakhbout City (formerly Khalifa City B), established in 2005 and on its permanent campus since 2007, operated by the Australian International Academy of Melbourne. A full-continuum IB World School (code 004380), it integrates the Australian ACARA curriculum with the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes from KG1 to Grade 12, and with fees starting at AED 15,600 it is one of the UAE's most affordable IB schools. The 2024-25 ADEK inspection rated the school Good, recording 608 students (the school's own marketing cites 1,000+). The campus features a 20,000-book multilingual library, an indoor heated 27m pool and a 620-seat auditorium.
