Abu Dhabi International Private School – MBZ City

Abu Dhabi International Private School (MBZ City campus) is the second campus of the Abu Dhabi International School (AIS) group, which was founded in 1992 by Mrs Jihan Nasr. Opened in 2015 on a large purpose-built site in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, it is a co-educational school running an American curriculum (US Common Core for English and Maths, NGSS for Science) from Pre-KG to Grade 12, leading to the US High School Diploma with Advanced Placement, and additionally offers the IB Diploma Programme in Grades 11-12. French is taught from Grade 3 (DELF pathway). Accredited by Cognia and rated Very Good by ADEK (2025/26, a rating the campus has held since its first full inspection cycle), it serves around 2,000 students from more than 50 nationalities, roughly 43% of them Emirati. Its 2025 IB Diploma cohort averaged 35 points, well above the global average of about 29. (Note: this is the MBZ City campus; the group's original Al Karama Street campus, which also offers a British/IGCSE pathway, is listed separately.)
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Fees are the school's published 2026-27 table for the MBZ campus. ADEK approved this schedule for 2025/26 and it stays operative until replaced, so the figures are current; the school did not raise them, and its sister IB licence on the same campus prices the top two grades identically for 2026/27. Two things to check before relying on the lowest figure. The Pre-KG price of AED 20,000 is AED 25,000 less a AED 5,000 promotion whose stated deadline, 20 June 2026, has passed, though the school still advertises the reduced figure; and Pre-KG is the one row whose instalments do not add up, because they were never recalculated for that discount. Books are compulsory in practice, running AED 1,275 to 2,700 by grade, and are delivered only once paid. Registration is AED 1,500, credited against tuition. The fee table shows two instalments, in August 2026 and January 2027, while the school's own policy documents still describe three, so confirm the schedule. Discounts are all conditional: 5% for early enrolment, 10% for paying in full by 30 September 2026, and 5% or 10% for a second or third child. Transport is AED 4,950 plus a AED 500 bus registration, uniform AED 300, and Grade 12 IB candidates pay a AED 3,500 examination fee.
