About

Amity International School Abu Dhabi is a private, co-educational British school in Al Bahya, part of the Amity Education Group. Opened in 2015, it teaches the National Curriculum for England from the Early Years Foundation Stage through IGCSE, then A Levels, BTEC Level 3 and the EPQ in the Sixth Form (FS1 to Year 13, ages 3-18). Home to around 1,600 students from 80+ nationalities (about a quarter Emirati), taught by some 130 mostly UK-trained teachers at a 1:12 ratio, it is rated Very Good by ADEK (held since 2021-22, with Outstanding judgements for student care and for staffing and facilities) and Outstanding under the UK's British Schools Overseas framework. Its standout feature is a unique RYA-accredited Water Sports Academy with a boathouse and direct Arabian Gulf inlet for sailing — the only such provision among Abu Dhabi schools — alongside a 50-metre Olympic-sized swimming pool and an extensive sports campus.
