Al Mawakeb School Al Khawaneej

Al Mawakeb School Al Khawaneej is a private co-educational American curriculum school located in Al Mizhar / Al Khawaneej, Dubai. Inaugurated in 2018, it is the newest of three Al Mawakeb campuses managed by AMSI (Arabian Management Services International), which has been operating schools in Dubai since 1979 with over 7,000 graduates. The school delivers the American curriculum aligned with Massachusetts State Standards and Common Core (English/Math), Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and California State Standards (PE/Arts), integrated with UAE Ministry of Education requirements for Arabic, Islamic Studies, Moral Education, and Social Studies. NEASC accredited, the school serves approximately 1,200 students with Emirati nationals comprising 81% of the student body. The school offers a trilingual programme in English, Arabic, and French from KG to Grade 10, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and a Notebooks for Books (N4B) programme replacing textbooks with laptops in Grades 11-12. The school also implements blockchain-based digital academic credentials. Rated Good by KHDA for 2023-2024, with Outstanding ratings for Health & Safety, Personal Responsibility, Islamic Values, and Community Responsibility.
Fees for 2026/2027, per year group. Excludes registration, uniform, and transport.
Fees for 2026-2027 as published by the school, under a column headed "Fees (Inclusive of Books & Uniform)" - so unlike the group's Al Barsha and Garhoud campuses, which itemise books and school gear separately, the Al Khawaneej figure already covers them. A laptop is no longer bundled: an optional laptop package adds AED 2,205 and is offered only to new students in Grades 9 to 12, taking Grade 12 from AED 69,602 to AED 71,807. There is no general discount. A sibling reduction of a flat AED 1,000 applies from the second child onwards while the siblings remain at the school, though the school's two pages word it differently, one as per sibling and the other as from the second onwards. Tuition scholarships are offered to selected students in Grades 7 to 12 on academic merit, reassessed yearly, with no value published, and alumni reductions of up to 15 per cent are recorded with the regulator. The AED 525 application fee is refunded only if no place is offered and is not deducted from tuition. Transport costs AED 8,700 one way or AED 9,700 both ways a year, with express shuttles at AED 12,500 to AED 13,500. The school publishes no instalment split, due dates, payment methods or refund policy.
