Entry Requirements

Academic: A single four-year route. UAE Al-Thanawiyya Al-Aama 75% (Arab-country equivalents to the same standard); American High School Diploma grade C (70% or 2.5/4.0) plus SAT 1100; India CBSE 10.5; India ICSE 77%; Chinese Senior High School 80%; Pakistan HSSC 88%; South Korea CSAT 77.5%.
A Level: British GCE: five IGCSE/GCSE subjects at grade D plus three A Levels at CCD, with Year 13 completed.
IB Diploma: International Baccalaureate Diploma: 25 points.
English: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with a minimum 6.0 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. TOEFL iBT 79 (not less than 18 Reading/Writing, 17 Listening/Speaking). PTE Academic 54 overall with a minimum 54 in each communicative skill.

UOWD publishes a 15-row matrix for the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) covering a further school systems (Bangladesh, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Nepal). Note the UAE threshold is 75%, higher than the 70% for other undergraduate degrees.

Careers

Graduates become structural engineers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, project management engineers and construction engineers.
