To obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Language and Literature, the student must complete 123 credit hours. These hours are University requirements (UR), College requirements (CR), and Program requirements (PR).
Graduates of the proposed program will have a wide range of job opportunities in the private and public sectors. The labor market in the UAE offers graduates of the program job opportunities in federal ministries, media organizations, the Federal National Council, International inter-governmental organizations in the UAE (e.g. United Nations, UNHCR, etc.), embassies, national security, strategic studies and research centers (e. g., ECSSR), schools, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) offices, etc. In addition, graduates of the program may also have the opportunity to pursue study programs leading to graduate degrees (i. e., master and/or doctoral degrees). In turn, holding such a degree will qualify them for additional job opportunities in the domestic, regional, and international labor markets.
