What You'll Study
Experience a comprehensive learning approach with lectures, collaborative projects, and personalised support in small group sessions. Structured Learning: 30 hours of weekly contact time, supplemented by self-guided study tailored to your degree and specific module requirements. Small Group Seminars: Engage in interactive discussions and collaborate with peers, promoting a deeper understanding of course material. Practical Workshops: Develop hands-on skills and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhancing your problem-solving abilities. You’ll transform your career prospects with tailored placements approved by the University of Birmingham with guidance from our Careers Team. Your progress is assessed through coursework and exams. Coursework takes a variety of forms, including reports, essays, group presentations, class essays and computer assignments. You must achieve satisfactory results to proceed to the next year. Your final degree is based on marks gained in the third and fourth years and credits which you build up throughout the whole programme. Both placements are worth 120 credits in total and comprise of 12.5% of the total degree classification.
